I am a 35 year old woman who’s been taking conjugated estrogens since age 11. My health has been declining since age 16, and my skin is dry. I have been taking conjugated estrogens for the past 12 years. I take 2 Premarin pills every day for 10 years and I’m not sure if the estrogens are working as well. My estrogen levels are high because of these pills, but I still take them. I’m not a “natural” woman, and I can’t take estrogens at the same time. My blood pressure has been steady, so it’s been normal for me to be taking them. I am on a low-fat diet, and have been on estradiol and Premarin. The estrogens have been the only ones I’ve been on for over a year now. I have no side effects whatsoever, and have been able to maintain my health. I have been in the hospital for a month, and the estrogen has not done a good enough job.
I was taking Premarin for years. After 2 years of having estrogen, I started to see results. I went to the ER, and they said they were “all natural”, so I stopped taking the pills. I had a hysterectomy, but no cancer. My hysterectomy was fine, and the estrogen was going to work as well. I went to my gynecologist for a CT, and they said I should have a hysterectomy. The doctor said I can’t have a hysterectomy because of the estrogen, but he had a different opinion. They said I was going to have a hysterectomy anyway. I’ve had no problems with the estrogen, but the progesterone has worked so well.
I’ve been taking estrogen since age 13. I’ve taken progesterone for 3 years and then stopped taking estrogen. I still take estradiol, but not all that well. I’ve been on estradiol for a year, and I’ve been able to maintain a healthy balance. I’ve been able to do things that aren’t possible without estrogen. I’ve had no side effects, and I’m still able to be a whole lot healthier. I’m still healthy and happy. I hope my health has improved.
